When renting a helmet cam it is best if there are two people so that you can take turns filming each other, and sharing the cost. The reasons that we use memory cards instead of burning a data dvd are; 1) 1 in every 30 dvd's is defective and 2) we have 7 cameras and if you are the 7th person in line at the end of the day to have your dvd burned, it will be over a hour and a half for that to happen. You can save the cost of the card by bringing your own empty card, 4gb = 3 hours / 8gb = 6 hours. You could bring your laptop and import your footage directly.
